Santiago receives pilgrim 300,000 this afternoon
The record-keeper would have already reached the finish line to attend the Pilgrim's Mass at 12:00 noon.
This according to :
La Voz de Santiago .

Wish you all well , Peter .

Thank you Mister Peter for the information. Team Sailor [my wife and me] are part of "The 300,000 Club" and now is the time for the oficina de peregrinos to prepare for the next 100k milestone in just a couple of years. Wishing all caminantes a Feliz Navidad, y que la luz de Dios alumbre su camino.

The news says that the prize for Andrew is one meal at the Parador and 2 days stay at the casa rural that he chooses.

There are many more. I, for instance, do not register at the pilgrim office: I already have 3 compostelas and consider myself sind-free forever. ;):) So I am not in the statistics. I suspect there are many like me.

Yeah, or people like us, who considered our Camino de Madrid finished in Sahagún.

We will end up with yet another Compostela at Easter, though, we're doing Inglés + Fisterra + Muxia with our grown-up son, who says he really doesn't know what to do with himself at Easter after our brainwashing.

(Pass the soap, please.)
