Hi, will be starting my first ever "Baby Camino" from A Guarda the 20th of May 2018. Probably a stupid question, but where in A Guarda do I get a cello? And does it matter whether you get it in the evening before or the next morning?
Staying at Monumento Convento de San Benito.
Thanks in advance

You can get a Sello from the Convento, from a nearby bar, anywhere almost. And get two per day from somewhere and from where you stay until you get to Santiago.
One of my most treasured credencials bears not a Sello but a signature and a date - Miguel, queserio, Tresviso 19 Julio, another bears the smudged stamp from the Club Roque in Malaga, another the Estacion Ferrocarril in Ferrol. They all count.

We got our stamp in a hotel in A Guarda but there is an albergue too.

There is a tourist office where you exit the ferry from Portugal. You can get a sello there. Also in your hotel. Stayed there last June, great place, very historical.

And remember that the double L makes a Y sound in Spanish. So ask for a "say-o" not a "sel-o".

Hi everyone, Just looking for some advice whether you think it would be better to start in Vigo or Tui? We have previously walked Sarria to Santiago in 5 days so hoping to do something similar...
