A week ago I printed out 373 pages of Camino diary (from CF) with a lots of pictures and sent it as a "book" to my grandmother.

Yesterday I called her to hear if she had received it. And yes she had and she was deeply involved in my walking. She had read the first 12 days during the weekend.

When I was in Burgos I visited the cathedral and wrote that I thought of my grandmother while sitting there. She read that and had almost forgot that the text was written by my and thought "how sweet she is thinking of her grannie" and then realised "but hey that is me". She is funny.

She is 82 years old and have heart problems and some other age related diseases and knows that she will never be able to walk the Camino. So it was a pleasure to give her the opportunity to follow mine via text and pictures.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Dear Beatrice, as a grandmother who adores her granddaughters, I was so touched by your post. I want to one day walk the Camino with them, but if not here's hoping they do as you did, and that they say a prayer and give St James a hug for me.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Thanks for the comments. Yesterday I sent one to my mother as well. We almost never talk to each other but my grandmother thought se would appreciate it. So I made one for her as well.

This was a wonderful and very thoughtful gift for your grandmother. As a grandma myself I can tell you that by far the most loved gifts are those that come from the heart of the grandchild rather than from the pocketbook. I am sure she will treasure this.
