The article explains that a man suspected of murdering another man in Barcelona is believed to have hid the body in his flat then left to walk the Camino. He was stopped and arrested at the San Nicolas Albergue in Ponferrada.

Wonder if he was on the Camino to atone for the murder? It worked for sinners in days of yore.

Am I a horrible human being for feeling a tad sad he didn't make it to Santiago before getting arrested?

Okay, we could take this report in a at least a couple of ways. I choose to believe this is a sign of great detective work by the Spanish police. "Like the Northwest Mounty, they get their man." Anyway if the person adjacent bunk were a dangerous character, wouldn't the story make my memoir more interesting.
