So if you are on the Camino Norte before Cadevedo or there is a Norte in your future, keep in mind Casa Carin Alberque/AT's in Cadavedo.

For 15E I had 1 bedroom in a 2BR apt that included a kitchen, LR, and free washing machine. The other BR was occupied by 2 other peregrinas. Very clean(still quite new), spacious by Camino standards.

Returning to the Camino the next morning was super close and easy.

Since they are on the outer edge of town the owner drove us to the grocery store to buy food. Even so there are restaurants reasonably close by.

A great value if you're ready for a break from heavy duty communal living that won't mess with the budget too much.

And, they take reservations.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Walking from Luarca on 4th July to Santiago, any good advice on albergues or routes?

For the section you'll be covering I would recommend 3 private alberques, Alberque Abadin, Albergue Witericus and Albergue Santa Irene. There are many more out there that are probably really fine, the ones listed are the ones I happened to stay at.

As for routes - the camino variant to Tapia de Casariego and the non-camino related walk to As Catedras near Ribadeo are worth the extra effort IMHO.

Buen Camino
