How busy is it early on on the trail at the moment? Starting from Irun next Tuesday 6 June and plan to stay at Pasajes San Juan. Seeking an update about bed available at the Alberque. I’ll start walking early but not want to have rush this beautiful section.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

There are 14 places, in the albergue allocated on a first come first served basis and it is staffed by volunteers. They do not take reservations.

Also if you get there early you will probably have to wait to get in. I think the check in is pretty late in the afternoon, like 3 or 4. For some reason Gronze.com is not opening for me at the moment but if you check there it will tell you.
Just checked my wise pilgrim app and yes it opens at 4. There are bars and restaurants and a grocery store if you want to get something while you wait.

Guides that will let you complete the journey your way.
