Hi i have not posted recently. Was supposed to arrive in Sarria on 1st april 22 and begin my walk to santiago today. Unfortunately my brother who lives in virginia usa is terminally ill with bone cancer. He lives on his own so i have flown over from Spain to help him. It is hard as its just me at the moment doing caring. I do have access to pallative care for him but he does not feel ready for that just yet. So dont want to stress him and am holding up ok. Whilst disappointed about the walk have deferred it to perhaps oct 22. The camino will be there my brither wont. Thats the way i look at it. Plus in oct will do the walk in his memory. To sll those walking or about to bien camino, hope your walk is or will be wonderful.

So sorry to hear about your brother. I’m sure your presence with him is a great comfort! May you have some precious times together. And yes! The Camino will be waiting…
