The Spanish bus company Alsa has just posted its schedule for buses from Pamplona to St. Jean-Pied-de-Port, beginning April 1:
The only bus on their schedule leaves daily at noon, makes five stops enroute and arrives at 1:45 p.m. A ticket costs 22 Euros.

I wonder if they will add the 2.30 pm bus as they have in past years, although it was 2019 the last time I used it.

and Alsa website seems to say +10 euro for a bigger bag (Equipaje extra). For two+ people starting to make the taxi cost look more attractive.

Do you veterans suggest we purchase our tickets for the ALSA bus from Pamplona to SJPP ahead of time? Or leave ourselves open to the possibility of sharing a taxi with other peregrinos we might meet?
I wonder if we can purchase the ticket from the bus driver the day of?

My train got to Pamplona too late for the ALSA bus. I am looking for someone to share taxi fare with. I check Caminofacil and they want 145 Euro. If I could find one or two travelers, it would be great. I go on 15 April

According to this taxi company it should cost €108.
If you reserve with them they will attempt to pool pilgrims together to split the cost.
