Hi all

I will be arriving in Biarritz airport on the 20th August ready to start my first Camino (!) and just thought I'd check on the off chance that anyone else was arriving then and would be interested in sharing transport to SJPDP? I have contacted Express Bourricot and there is transport available however at the moment it would just be me!

Buen Camino :)

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Hi Bethan, I'm not arriving until the 27th but may have the same problem, I read on Bourricot Express website that if you spot people on your plane or at the airport that need transport to St Jean you can text the names and number of people to Caroline of Bourricot Express and that allows her to pick them up from the Airport too. Check the details on the website, but for the service they offer you should have plenty of takers, it will save Pilgrims having to make the way there by train and bus over a protracted number of hours.
The next update of the Bourricot Express travel manifest on there website is the 16th, so you might get some last minute names added, keep you eyes glued on the website come the 16th.

Good luck with the search and Buen Camino.

Hi Daniel

Thanks for your message! I saw that too but just thought I'd check beforehand in case there was anyone :) thanks for the tip about the update - will definitely look out for that. Good luck to you too, buen camino!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Looks like a few others have been added to your transport, now showing as €18 - €40 at least that sounds a little better. My transport is now full we'll be all crammed in and our bags to. Wish you all the best with your Camino, you can give me a heads up of anything nasty I'll be just a week behind you lol.

Buen Camino

Oh good, thank you so much for letting me know! I have emailed Caroline now so hopefully that will be sorted. Just nice to get that off my mind! I will let you know - if my knee injury holds me back you may even catch up! Hopefully that won't be the case (nothing personal!!)

Buen camino

Yeah I was getting worried about mine too, glad that its all settled now. Haha I hope I don't catch you either, I'm taking it slow and steady. Good luck again now you can relax and just enjoy the Camino.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
