My wife and I will take off from Chicago April 9 and land in Madrid April 10, 2015. Will arrive In Pamplona at 15:35, Bus or Taxi to SJPDP! Camino officially begins! Well, really it Began 14 months ago. Can't wait!!!!!!

Yes, we will stay the night in Roncesvalles the next evening 11th April. It is quite a long and strenuous walk from Orisson to Roncesvalles so we don't want to get too tired or get blisters so early in the walk. We will be walking quite short stretches and having day off sometimes (first one probably in Pamplona). We are not booking any return tickets so will just be free to take the time we need or want to have. I realise that not everyone has this choice, and some people either need or prefer to go a lot further each day.

I will watch for you Lucy and leatherneck. I will be staying the 10th and 11th in SJPDP and starting my journey on the 12th, staying at Orisson that night. I leave Seattle on the 8th!!! So close... Looking forward to meeting you all at some point!
