Camino Portoguese April 2022
Hi all,
Starting from Vigo this week with the family. 3 newbies and 2 old hands. Mum, Dad, 2 young adults and a younger teen.
Excited and a little apprehensive.
This will be my 5th Camino and we hope to get to Santiago.

Buen Camino all.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

The walk from Vigo to Redondela is very scenic, with views of the estuary from the mountain. And not too strenuous either. After Redondela, it's mostly flat to Santiago, unless you take the Spiritual Variant. So, should be an enjoyable walk for the family.

Thank you very much, good to know, that's very encouraging !

Prepare for your next Camino on California's Santa Catalina Island, Oct 27 to Nov 2

O eido vello Cabanas, redondela is a fine little restaurant with a great view on your path. Don't pass by without stopping in. I was there in October.

Thank you, that's fantastic and I certainly won't!

Just arrived in Hotel Panton in Vigo and looking forward to Menu del Dia.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
All has gone well so far. We stayed in Vigo, Redondela, Pontevedra, Caldes de Reise and tonight somewhere beyond Padron. Santiago tomorrow we hope!

We recommend a nice Italian restaurant in Pontevedra. Il Piccolini.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
