Bayonne to SJDP April 13. Want to form a group?

Hi I’m arriving from the US Friday April 12 in Paris but too late to get the early train. I arrive in Bayonne at 8pm. Am planning to spend the night and then leave Saturday the 13 for sjdp. I was planning on doing the transport via VTC Harispe but Peyo thinks saturday AM will be hard to get a group together. Anyone interested?

Why not take the train from Bayonne to SJPdP?

Hotel Côte Basque is right next to the station. You can take the first train to St Jean in the morning, after breakfast. (which is very good, btw).

Or take a later train and tour the beautiful cathedral in Bayonne first.

Agree with earlier posts. I spent the night in Bayonne (Hotel Villa Koegui) and took the train to SJPP at noon the following day. Great restaurants, beautiful cathedral, and a couple sporting good stores if you need anything last minute. The train station is right in the middle of town so very convenient as well.
