Anyone traveled from Barcelona? So far I have found train to Pamploma that takes about 4 hrs. Thank you!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The bus line for Barcelona to Pamplona is Vibasa: http://www.vibasa.es . There are usually 5 buses per day from Barcelona Sants. 7h30 : 15:35: 15:45 (express) 22.45
They take about 5.5 hours.
There is no direct bus to St Jean after mid-September so you might have to share a taxi or get the 6pm bus to Roncesvalles and then taxi to St Jean.

I'm flying into Barcelona and after there is another flight to San Sebastian (cheap), but if check the map - airoport located even closer to Irun (5 min taxi ride). From French side you can get train to Bayononne and to SJPdeP.

The ALSA bus goes from Pamplona to St Jean. It takes about 2 hours and costs 15 euro. You can book online and print out the ticket from your computer. Also, they accept Paypal. http://www.alsa.es/en/services/xacobeo/ ... dorXacobeo

For the Barcelona to Pamplona leg, the RENFE train takes about 5 hours. I had great difficulty trying to use my US credit card and debit card on the RENFE website. I ended up buying my RENFE ticket online through Petrabax, a US-based ticket agent, which offered a web price of $38 US. This was cheaper than the web price on the RENFE site and they emailed me my ticket within 36 hours.
