Would it be better for you to get a taxi/bus to Bayonne, and then train to SJPDP? Especially if you don’t have any takers.

You’re right that would make sense but I have done this trip from Biarritz to St Jean twice before and always filled the bus with pilgrims I have met at the airport . It’s €19 pps for the minibus compared to €14 for bus and train and I will be St.Jean in about one hour. I am under pressure with time as I am staying in Huntto not St Jean.
