I don't think the 2013 train timetable from Biarritz/Bayonne has been released yet.

This is up-to-date to December 2012. Am I reading right that there is a 21h10 train only at weekends and holiday? Ven , Dim et Fêtes.

From your experience, do you think the train from Bayonne to StJPdeP needs to be pre-booked for the Wednesday of Holy Week (pre-Easter)? If flight delayed, I don't want to have to fork out for our train fares again ...


Edited to say - luckily I hadn't booked it - Ryanair has just delayed the time of the flight by 3 hours!

The SNCF website says that seats cannot be booked on the train to SJPdP.

You can stand on some trains in France, and this is one of them.

07.14/ arrives 8.33/ Lundi, NON fetes/Monday, NOT holidays/Circule aussi le 2 avr et le 21 mai/also 2 April and 21 May

07.45/arrives 9.04/ Mardi a Vendredi/Tuesday thru Sunday, and holidays/Ne circule pas le 2 avril et le 21 mai/ NOT 2 April or 21 May/aussi le 29 avr et le 20 mai/ also 29 April and 20 May

10.48/arrives 12.07/Lundi a Samedi/Monday thru Saturday/pas les jours fériés/NOT holidays

14.55/arrives16.14/.Tous les jours et Fêtes,/Everyday and holidays

what shoud i do if i don't get a bus or a train? should i find myself a room in bayone or biarritz? i'd like to be in SJpdp asap, and sleep there my first night.
