Bodenaya Albergue Update: Under New Ownership?

I know that Bodenaya was/is for sale...bittersweet that David and Celia can pursue another dream. But looking forward to another walk on the Primitivo, I was curious about the albergue? Open with new owners? Still for sale?

And if it is NOT open, I remember another albergue, maybe 1/2 mile before Bodenaya, had a big A on the side of it... Would that be a good alternative? It's January, just dreaming and planning.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
You're referring to

Acogida de peregrinos Fontenonaya

I haven't stayed there but saw the sign and albergue from a distance. Luckily I was able to stay with David and Celia in 2021 but they were closed for one day (!) when I did the Primitivo in 2019.

I sure hope some loving peregrin@/hospitaler@ takes over in Bodenaya.

On Gronze just last week it showed Bodenaya was closed.
This is Gronze from today. It no longer shows it as closed, but it has the old information. Does anyone know for sure?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
