Hello, I'm flying to Bordeaux on 24th June. I'll be in the airport at 17.30 - 18.00 and I really need to go to SJPP the same day, but is difficult because it's Saturday and the trains and buses are earlier, maybe I haven't searched enough.
I'll try to search on Blablacar too, but I want to be sure.
Any advice?
Thanks all!
May God bless us all!

Hi, in 2013 we took a train from Bordeaux to Bayonne. We then shared a cab to SJPP. There is a bus at the Bordeaux airport that stops at the train station. I can't recall how often it runs...every 30 minutes?

I caught train from Bordeaux to SJPP but it was an earlier one. I to arrived late by plane on a Sunday but I stayed in the IBIS hotel which is a stones through from both the train station and the airport bus stop - it was pretty reasonable. Bordeaux is a very impressive city and has a great train station. have a great Camino.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
You'd likely be able to get from Bordeaux to Bayonne. The only public transport from Bayonne to SJPdP is SNCF train or Transports64 bus (via Palais). The last train leaves Bayonne at 1806.

Your only viable option is to overnight at Bayonne and take the 0745 train.

For Bordeaux to Bayonne try these:

SNCF train

Flixbus

Eurolines

The Campanile hotel is also close to Bordeaux rail station. I am pretty sure the airport bus to station is every 30 minutes.
