Cahors to Pamplona: Advice and Tips Greatly Appreciated

Hello Everyone!

This will be my first time doing el camino and I am very excited! I have about 3 weeks and was thinking of starting in Cahors and ending in Pamplona. I really wanted to travel over the Pyrenees, which is why I chose this route.

Has anyone walked the route from Cahors to Pamplona? Is it doable in 3 weeks? Is there another route one would suggest to do in 3 weeks??

I am open to advice and recommendations!

I took slightly longer than that, but I'm a slower walker, and had some short days and some rest days. I am sure it is possible, but It is hard to know how long it will take you, as people's pace and daily distance vary. If you started in Moissac, it might make a Pamplona finish a bit more certain in three weeks, (and you can get to Moissac by train).

The other is a 'planner' where you can get ideas about distances between places. http://www.godesalco.com/plan/podense covers the route as far as Roncesvalles, and http://www.godesalco.com/plan/frances covers the section to Pamplona.

It is doable in 3 weeks if you don't mind some long days in the middle of the section from Cahors-SJPDP. Why not start from Cahors, walk without the time pressure and just finish when you run out of time?
