Maybe - but I would put my money on pure commercial interests..

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The partners biked the Camino and started brewing upon their return. Sounds like they’ll be opening a taphouse in San Jose very soon.

What a great story Vacajoe - it shows how life-changing the Camino can be.
I really like the bottle - great design and I think it's wonderful that the brewers' story is shared on the bottle.
I'd love to know what it tastes like! Could you let us know?
Thanks and cheers from Oz -
Jenny

From the magazine puff piece "an homage to the milk stout with espresso that the Spaniards drink daily"

From the company website "Started as gypsy brewers after coming home from a 1,900 mile cycling pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago trail across Spain."

I think these guys are sampling far too much of their own wares!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Oh wow! Thanks, @Vacajoe, for posting. I'm mad keen to try this. If any beer nerds are doing the Camino from April 23- May 23, keep an eye out for a guy in a Dave's Brewery Tours t-shirt or hat. That'll be me. I'm a tour guide in Sydney with Dave's and would love to grab a beer with you and talk all things beer and El Camino.

The tap room is open! We went down there yesterday for the grand opening. It went really well. The beer is excellent, the tap room is nicely done, and the crowd was really good. They opened at 2pm and we got there about 2:30 - they already had a fairly full house with more people arriving. I saw a couple Facebook posts from that evening that showed that they were still going strong. So it looks like the grand opening was an unmitigated success.

Someone asked what the beer tastes like. The Cafe Con Leche Stout is a good, solid stout style, but not overly heavy like some can be. They brew it with coffee, so you get the coffee notes in the beer. It's very well balanced. We also had the Baerista Brown - it's a brown ale, which is one of my favorite styles. Again, solid beer - good balance between hops and malts, excellent flavor. We'll definitely be back to try their other styles. They had a saison that looked really promising.
