Hello! I’m starting this Sunday from San Sebastián-Camino del Norte, anyone else? This time I am walking by myself and honestly I’m intimidated by the difficulty of the terrain but attracted by the scenery and the less crowded route but will love some company, specially when the day is tough.
Thanks

Hi @Bauer
If you’ve got average fitness - and take it steady for first few days - you’ll be fine.
Remember to stay hydrated and stretching helps those leg muscles.

Work on shorter stages to start and re assess. It’s not that bad.

If possible I would recommend starting in Irun. For me the Irun-San Sebastian stage was the most beautiful of all my Camiño. It is a difficult stage though but can be broken up with a night in the town of Pasajes de San Juan.
