Hello,
I am new to this site and I am planning my first Camino.
I have a lot of the items to backpack just need some advise about hostels,
Should I take a plane from cdg to bayone or train?
I am leaving from Wa in August 1, 2014 and I have 42 days to walk the full route. St. John-santiago-finnesterre.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
It is much easier to fly vuelling from cdg to Biarritz. Stay overnight there and then bus/taxi to Bayonne and then train to SJPDP .
For me the best thing to do next is to book Orrisson way in advance to break up the first day walking. Also you will then have time to socialize with people at Orrisson. These people will be your early camino pals.

Best of luck!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Greetings BeWillDeR,

I am arriving in Madrid on the 2nd August, hopefully starting the Camino on 4th/5th.

Maybe see you along the way.

Buen Camino!
