Hi all!
Im planning the full distance, beginning my walk on September 23. I will be flying from Dublin into Biaritz on the 22nd if anyone is looking to share a taxi bus, otherwise I hope to go by train to SJPDP. Im a bit nervous for day 1, SJPDP to Roncesvalles and I am unsure if i would need to book an Albergue for the night I arrive there or not. Im planning on as light a load as possible!

Contact Express Bouricott for a quick shuttle ride to SJPdP. You need to reserve in advance, and your shuttle will likely be full. The cost is based on the number of passengers on the shuttle, and is very cost effective. The shuttle driver meets the passengers near the terminal entrance.

In Ireland there a Society : Camino Society where you can meet people for advices

From Biarritz airport there is a shuttle to Bayonne Rail station after a train from Bayonne to SJPP. End of September it's not necessary to book a bed for night. When you arrive you have to go to the pilgrims office 39 rue de la citadelle here volunteers can find a bed and will give you all advices you need to start your Camino.
See you soon at SJPP

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

New user here. Hello to you all. New to the forum but not to the Camino. I was told about this Forum whilst I walking the lovely scenic 'Camino Norte'. I'm planning walking another in June.
Hi, A couple years ago I flew into Geneva and took a train to Laussane to begin my Francigena. Next year I would like to fly into Geneva and walk the south side - France into Aigle, Switzerland...
