A theme park dedicated to Spain in the town of Shima recreates Xacobea Route
The Japanese city of Shima has for two decades with a theme park dedicated to Spain, the Shima Spain Village, which represent some of the most important monuments of our country, including prominently the Camino de Santiago.
This center of fun trying reflect Spain's most famous locations. The attractions have names like Columbus Square, Caravel Santa Maria, the Pyrenees, Great Montserrat, Gaudí carousel Cambron Gate Theatre where documentaries are shown as Viva la Paloma Blanca on big screen.
Besides the shops there are also restaurants as My Home , Rooster, hen, Alhambra, Torero, Polvorón or Camino de Santiago and shops with names like Valencia, Sailor, Lladró or chatter. The center covers an area of 34 hectares, with 28 attractions, 23 restaurants and 19 shops and cafes.
The park, which receives more than 1.5 million visitors, usually hire a high percentage of Spanish workers for the season between dancers, dancers, waiters and dependents.
fact: the last September there were several auditions in Spain to hire workers for the park and given the crisis situation as the organizers were able to confirm the number of applications doubled.
