Camino October

Hi there
My name is Jimmy Trehy from Ireland and I plan to spend 5 days walking the Camino in Oct from Pamplona to Logrono.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Hi Jimmy,
I hope your travels to and from Spain go well and that your time on the Camino is a real blessing.
Pamplona to Logrono in 5 days is very achievable. Great to see you do this section, rather than rush from Sarria to Santiago, just to get your Compostela (certificate). The Camino is out on the senda (pathway), not in a certificate.

Dawn will be coming later each day, so you might be tempted to start in the dark. I found there is no need to begin walking before 8:00 am, or 8:30 am each day.

Have a good journey.

Jimmy,

I am Francis Corrigan and I am leaving SJPP on 5th october, for at least two weeks.

Depending on when you are planning your 5 days, we might just meet.

Good luck,

Francis

I wish you every kind thought for your journey.
Please consider looking even just a little bit beyond the narrowest of paths and the way well trodden.
So much is missed by so many. Great marvels are often just by the main routes yet so few seem to go that way as pilgrims would have in slower times long past.
San Millan de la Cogolla.
the amazing Eunate is by passed by a whisker where the frances is joined by the aragones yet is spurned by many on the frances. As examples.
Entirely authentic, often ignored through haste.
El valle del silencio much further on is a great case in point.
Travel well.

Hei

I walk 11 stations from Roncesvalles (start 6/10) to Burgos (16/10).
Have a nice journey.
