Camino Portuguese

Good Morning,

For the first time my Camino plans include someone from start to finish. My daughter has asked to join me this year to walk the Portuguese from June 3 to 17 Porto to SdC. As a bonus we will spend 3 nights in Porto prior to walking to Vila do Conde on the coast June 3rd. We will then join the central route up to the Espiritual and on into SdC.
WE have a week afterwards to hang out in Santiago or to either walk to Fisterre or Muxia. Our last 2 nights will be in Lisbon and we fly home on June 24. Fisterre has always been a part of my Camino experiences and I can't wait to share this entirew pilgrimage with my daughter. Hopefully we will meet some of you along the way.

Sounds to be a wonderful experience Jim and one I'd like/hope to take some day with my own daughter.

Your route from Porto sounds very similar to the one my wife and I are taking this year as well. We've just literally been discussing whether we're going to do the coastal route again, but we've definitely opted for taking the spiritual route up river this time!

How nice! I walked my first Camino with my daughter and now we are both hooked. Those two first weeks of June are a school holiday (Pentecost) in southern Germany. It might make a difference in the amount of pilgrims from Germany. Well, at least my daughter and I will use those two weeks on Camino Portuguese.
