Hi everyone , greetings from Ireland. I hope to walk from Granja du moreruela on Sept13th and walk on to Santiago , maybe to Muxia also.
Has anyone walked this route this year ? A friend who is currently walking Camino Francis told me accommodated is not so plentiful compared to previous years and a lot of bars/restaurants are closed ! So if anyone has any information which may be helpful I would be really appreciative.
I can’t wait to get going, this will be my 5th Camino, I’m suffering with-drawl symptoms
Also how would people compare Muxia to Finisterre , I’ve walked to Finisterre in the past.
Buen Camino ,
John.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Can’t help with the Sanabrés yet (please do post what you find as some of us will be doing it come spring!) but for me, Muxia was magical. Finisterre was enjoyable and so glad I experienced it, but the walk from there to Muxia was beautiful and peaceful. Muxia is just so much more awe-inspiring—the rocks, the church, the waves crashing. I spent two extra days there at the end of my camino!
Buen Camino!
Lynn

Cheers Lynn, I’m sold on Muxia 👍

Hi Hammockhanger, I walked from Seville a few years ago. I continued on to the Frances so this time i want to walk to Santiago via the Sanabres. The VDLP is awesome, I have great memories of some great experiences. I walked in September also, it’s still very warm at that time of year ! You will ave a great time ,Buen Camino, John.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
