CAMINO SPONSORSHIP

Not visited here for a while! I walked the Camino de Santiago last year and to say it was a life changing experience is an understatement! Just before walking I gave up my full time job, and since the Camino I've been travelling and having adventures.
I was in South Africa for 3 months earlier this year and fell in love with it. I'm going back for 6-9 months as soon as I can to do some more travelling and do some voluntary work.
I will be volunteering at a school on the Wild Coast and am walking the Camino Fisterra to raise funds. Like everything in life, access to the volunteer programme costs money, ÂŁ1,949 to be precise, for an 8-week placement. So... me thinks, as I'm going back to Spain to walk the Camino Fisterra in September (didn't get to do it last time) I get friends and family to sponsor me to raise money for the placement. Now the Camino Fisterra is not only something I'm doing for myself, but also in a roundabout way it will be benefitting underprivileged and deprived children on the Wild Coast in South Africa.
I'm really looking forward to going back on Camino - I missed it so much when I finished last year. But, as all of us who have been there and done it know, the Camino is always with us in one way or another.

Hi, A couple years ago I flew into Geneva and took a train to Laussane to begin my Francigena. Next year I would like to fly into Geneva and walk the south side - France into Aigle, Switzerland...
I am 29 doing the Frances by myself starting in SJPdP next week. I didn’t realize this was a busiest time to do the Frances so I am really nervous about the bed race. I don’t mind socializing or...
