Camino Frances (2010) / Le Puy (2013)
I am walking 5 days between Le Puy and Aumont-Aubrac in early July - just wondering about bank machines (ATMs) along the route. Are there any?
Thanks!

France is more expensive than Spain, the gites cost more, semi-pension or otherwise and there are ATMs however not always when you need them. I liked to keep at least 200 Euro on me and did just fine - seems a lot but since lodging with dinner is easy 35-40 Euro a day, plus fruit snacks and drink along the chemin that amount doesn't last long.

Good point. I was thinking of this when I realized how remote some of the villages are at the beginning of Le Puy route. There seemed to be cash machines on the Spanish Camino, so wanted to consult others to be sure.
Thanks for the help!
