Hi all I am from Vancouver Island and am walking the Camino in September 2011. I fly from Vancouver, September 6 to arrive in Bairritz and make my way from there any advice for getting to SJPP. Excited and nervous!!
From Biarritz airport, take the #6 bus to Bayonne train station. (The #6 also goes back to Biarritz so be careful not to get on it going the wrong way.) It's a 15 minute bus ride. Or you could take a taxi to the Bayonne train station.
If you arrive after the last train to SJPP, there are inexpensive hotels right in front of the train station.
Buy your ticket, and jump on the next train to SJPP.
Start having fun and enjoying yourself right after you board the plane at home. Getting to SJPP is all part of the adventure.
Good evening all!
