Celebrating our retirement, starting from SJPdP on April 22

My wife and I will arrive in SJPDP on the 21st and begin our walk on April 22, but only going to Orisson on the first day.

It's such a good plan to stay at orisson the first night. I did that in September and I think it set me up for a great camino. Half of the friends I made were from that first night. Buen Camino

I am also celebrating retirement as well as dedicating my pilgrrimage to my Parents. As I am leaving home May 4/18 and should begin the walk May 6 or 7, I will be on the CF for bothe Mother's Day and Father's Day.

What a start to the next chapter in our lives. I start from SJPP 02 April and the advice from the forum on expected weather conditions, clothing,hostels etc. etc. is so appreciated.
