Camino Frances (2023)
On the Camino Frances, from which point can you first see the city (not the cathedral)? I’m in Arca do Pino and can see a city off in the distance just before town. Super curious!

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Dont think you can see Santiago - too far.... I believe on Frances you WOULD see the cathedral as 1st indication of the city - after all its a very tall structure
It was very foggy the day i walked in.... I could not even see the airport and if it wasnt for the arriving\departing planes sounds I would not have a clue that I was near it.
It cleared enough that I did see The Cathedral from Monto de Gozo ... I guess anything around this area might give you a glimpse at the city but you still need some "height' (and one can argue that San Marcos is already Santiago)

We are currently in Finisterre … the first sight of the spires of the cathedral is about 5kms out. There is a church and a park on the top of a hill. Make your way into the park and look toward Santiago and you will see the spires of the Cathedral! Buen Camino!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
