Hello everyone

I need to buy some actual clothes for a stag do I’m attending in San Sebastián on Friday.

Just a shirt and a pair of jeans, nothing too fancy.

Where would I go to find that sort of thing in Santiago?

Lots of cool shops in the tourist area.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Or there is also Massimo Dutti ( contrary to the name not Italian but Spanish ) and Springfield .

I was going to recommend same, but the OP indicated "not too fancy" so I was worried about price-point. But yes: very elegant cutters they are.

With thanks to all, I’ve just managed a reasonably stress free shop for “Black trousers” and a “nice shirt”, plus some “smart shoes”.

Given my dimension changes over the last five weeks, plus Spanish sizing numbers, it could have been a lot worse...

Massimo Dutti appears to be undergoing a refit.

There is also a large mall over past the bus station. Lots of stores there. Though it was a bit of a culture shock going into such a modern place.
