- Coastal route Porto-Santiago (2016)
Hello all,
I'm arriving in Porto in 9 days time to start my Camino. I have 12 days to reach Santiago and wondered if I could ask you advice on a couple of points:
1. The coastal route - at this time of year, would I be likely to meet fellow pilgrims (I'm travelling alone)?
2. At this time of year would the albergues be open along the coastal route? I would much prefer to stay in these rather than hotels.
3. Perhaps I would be better taking the inland route for more company - Is there much walking on roads or is the majority on off-road paths/through fields etc.
Thanks very much,
Christian
