Hola !
In a few days I'm leaving Sydney and will be on the Camino in a week's time.
God, I'm looking forward to my next Camino !!!!!!!
A Friend of mine wants to connect from Barcelona to the del Norte, preferably to San Sebastian.
Who can give me some advice on connection (Bus or train, cost and duration etc) to the coast from
Barcelona ?
Muchas Gracias

Hello Bem,

Don't forget about flights, there are two airlines based in Barcelona:
http://www.spanair.com
http://www.vueling.com
They offer flights from Barcelona to Bilbao (takes 1 hour). If you book ahead, the flight may be cheaper then a train.

...and there are also flights to San Sebastian (the airport of which being actually in Hendaye, on the border, so you can start your walk from the airport door!). A couple of years ago at least Iberia (http://www.iberia.com) flew to SS. As a connecting flight from BCN the cost would be next to nothing.

Hi,

Train connections can be found at http://www.renfe.com/EN/viajeros/index.html and entering your route and date. About 63 Euros between Barca and San Seb.

Bus is about 30 Euros one way. Try http://www.vibasa.com/index2.php?ididioma=2 for times\prices\tickets.

And here http://gospain.about.com/od/barcelona/q ... astian.htm, all you want on a page :) .

Buen Camino
