Hi all
I start from Irun on 6 June and plan to send my main luggage on to Casa Ivan for collection at the end. I’m guessing my case will be around 15 kg. Has anyone any idea of the Correos cost to send it to Casa Ivan?
I could use the Correos pilgrims system but prefer to have more flexibility with time than the 45 days they allow as I want extra days to explore places and plan to walk on to Muxia and then Finisterre.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

I mailed a small suitcase to Ivar from Irun in 2018. It was lighter than yours - about 10 kg, and the cost was 22.45 Euros.

You got a good deal. I mailed a roller bag style carryon sized that was probably about 10-12 kilos, and that was just under 40 euros IIRC. That was a few years later though.

We mailed a mid size box at Corrios when we recently walked through Burgos. The cost of the box and postage to Santiago and holding for 45 day cost 39 euros. Mailing items ahead in Spain is very easy and reliable, but mailing items from Portugal to Spain is definitely not. We had to travel 15 km outside of Santiago to pick up a parcel from Porto last year as PPS send items to a holding site, not Corrios near the Cathedral. Hope this helps.

You can find the Correos rates information here: https://www.correos.es/es/en/tarifas. Click on the link you need, presumably for Peninsula and Balearic Rates, which will open a .pdf document. The parcel rates are in Section 2. The .pdf is hyper-linked, so you can scroll down to the contents, and then click on where you want to go next.

ps the page link is now to the English version. The .pdf document you need to open from that page will be in Spanish.
