We walked from Porto to Santiago along the coastal route in 2013 beginning February 10 and did not encounter any weather challenges. One day of rain, a bit of wind. We are doing the same trip again flying out of Toronto next Sunday, February 23, hiking out of Porto on the 25th. Have been looking at 14 day weather on the Weather Network. Looks like sunny/cloudy with possibly some showers for the first 7 days heading north with temps at 15-17C and lows of 7-9. Sounds like good hiking to me. We had no trouble finding accommodation...we use hotels, inns and B and Bs.

I walked from Porto on February 27 arriving Santiago March 08, 2020. Weather projections were great 2 days before leaving. Upon arrival every day forecast precipitation, but with low accumulation of < 3mm /day. With the exception of 1 morning, most of the rain occurred over night or in the evening. Had a mixture of very light rain, drizzle with sunny periods most days. Cool early mornings with fog/mist burning off by 10am. Generally great conditions between 10am and 3pm. Cooled down quickly near dusk. Light rain on the Senda Litoral route disappeared 1-2 km inland on the Coastal route. Daytime highs 14-18 with nighttime lows of 8-14 Celcius. Precip got a little tiring, but overall a great walk. PM me if you'd like suggestions of places to stay. Buen Camino.
