Started the Camino “Ingles” today at 7am. I haven’t been able to find anywhere open in order to receive stamps in my credential.

Will I be turned away from Hostels or from receiving the compostella without stamps?
make sure you stamp at your next albergue/hostel, compulsory are the last 100 km, so for sure you'll have better luck tomorrow and rthe next days. no stamps, no Compostela. albergues should be ok with a stamp from the previous nught as long as it is a walkable distance.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Camino Ingles
I walked the Camino Ingles as my first camino last year and wondered where to get stamps initially. Getting into the habit of asking anywhere you stop helps a lot. Looking back at my credential stamps came from tourist offices, council offices (they usually are easy to find in the centre of towns/villages with flags outside), every coffee or restaurant stop, the albergues or other accommodation. If you are stuck you can ask in hotels or shops as you arrive in the place you might be staying. I managed to get 2-4 stamps each day without much effort.
All the very best with your camino!

You can get stamps at pharmacies and libraries also. Many churches may not be open and even when they are, may not have a stamp obviously available. You may have to ask.
