Starting the french way today
Hi started at SJPD July 25th on my way back now, I am going to Irun from Pamplona. On gronze there is albergues all the way ( if you know different pls let me know) will be walking Norte camino from about 23rd September.
On day 42 of 101 days will stop wherever I am on day 101. I think I should be on day 90ish when I get to Santiago ( late October) do I do Finisterre Muxia loop or should I walk down to Porto? Suggestions pls. I am on Instagram steve1963cole if you want to see my adventures

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I was thinking of walking from Pamplona on the Baztan in reverse to Elizondo and then the GR11 to Irun. How were you going to do Pamplona to Irun?

A selection of Camino Jewellery
I would do the Finisterre/Muxia loop if you haven't been to them yet. You can do the Portugues on another trip. If you do decide to walk to Porto, you can follow the blue arrows. They point to Fatima, but the way passes through Porto.

What route did you take from Pamplona to Irun?

In the end, I caught bus from Pampalona, but there is a route to Irun it's on Gronze.com 4 or 5 days. Spain -france ( I night) spain.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I did not find this. However, last year I tried for a Barcelona to San Sebastian walk. In Pamplona I quit because of weather but first I got information from the tourist bureau there. There is a old rail line converted to a hiking/biking trail that runs about 35 km that could be used to get a substantial amount of the way between Pamplona and Irun. It is called the Via Bidasoa. Although there are no albergues on it it does appear to have other lodging. Going from Pamplona to Irun you take the Camino Baztan in reverse two days (45 km) to Berroeta. Then figure out a route to connect you to the Bidasoa (there are roads parallel to the highways).
