Hi all.
I'm making plans to cycle the del Norte on my own touring bike. I've found several GPX tracks for this. The thing is at Villaviciosa, 2 of them go south to Oviedo and then back up to rejoin at Aviles. The other 2 are on the official coastal route. I am wondering is there an advantage on going on the detour to Oviedo on a road bike? I know that's the start of the Primitivo, which looks a bit harder to cycle anyway. Is there anything extra difficult on the costal bit between Villaviciosa and Aviles?
Thanks.
