Cycling from home in Britain to Santiago

I would be grateful for advice on any route taken down through France from French channel ports, particularly Roscoff.
I live in Cornwall and am considering cycling right from my door to Santiago.
Thanks

Hi Roger, try the Breton Pilgrim association, they will be able to help you get started once you have landed in Roscoff http://www.saint-jacques-compostelle-bretagne.fr/santjakez-chemins-bret-en.htm. Once you are on the page the link takes you too, you can also follow another link which takes you to the Breton forum(similar to this), it is possible to translate into english, there is a question on there about cycling from Brest to Santiago, the replies to this question will be of use to you. Once you are through Brittany you will meet up with the Tours(or Paris) route, try this link for info http://www.csj.org.uk/route-paris.htm.

The guy who runs the Brittany forum site is also a member on here and posts occasionally under the name Theo, try to PM him, he may reply http://www.caminodesantiago.me/board/member2985.html.

Good luck

Mike

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi Roger,

Feel free to send to me any questions about your cycling through Brittany from Roscoff...

... you can also open a new topic, in English, HERE on the Breton forum by clicking on "Nouveau".

There is a St James route starting close to this port.
