Hi friends, I am wondering if anyone knows of a day to day vlog of someone walking the Camino Frances, who is over 60? All the vlogs I have watched many vlogs but they are with younger folks. I love them, but I would love to see someone walking who is more my age.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Try robscamino on YT.

He’s older.

Gives pilgrims tips.

Not a blog though.

But, might be worth a watch.

There are many blogs by older pilgrims but maybe not so many day-by-day vlog accounts. But the Camino is the same, and the daily routine is the same, no matter what the age. What would be different from an older person's perspective?

@Robo 's blog includes many videos in his entries. (Look across the top of this page for the different Camino trips).

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
Hi
His Videos are very different and putting me in spirit of Camino. Nalutia or Man with stick on YT

The 2015 Blog is fairly comprehensive.
Daily entries, photos, videos.

It was also compiled into a mini movie.

At age 70, I can think of a few things that are potentially different: daily distance walked, concern for aggressive dogs, being the slowest in the group, potential need for medical consultants, inability to utilize upper bunk beds, need for immediate access to restroom, use of a CPAP machine, potential difficulty with slippery terrain, personal definition of hilly, backpack transport, medication needs if medications lost or damaged. Body Rust.
Just a few immediate potential differences for us older folks.
Just keep on keeping on. Keep moving.

There are a number of vlogs from older people on my video list.

Some that come immediately to mind are (knowing that it isn't always possible to judge someone's age accurately):
Camino de Santiago Journey: Camino Frances starts here, Camino Portugues starts here
Dales Outdoor Adventures: Camino Frances
Jim and De: Camino Frances
Michael Matthias: Camino Frances 2018, 2019
Joyce Meyer: Camino Frances starts here, Camino Portugues

Yes. There are differences in approach for sure. I have done be two segments and can see the differences. I am hoping to find someone a bit older which will talk about the realities of doing the Camino in light of the glorious and not so glorious differences.

I don't deny that there are differences, but they are largely in degree, and I don't think you need to watch a day-by-day vlog to learn about them. There are certainly many other types of accounts, that are informative.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Yes. I agree but because I am not travelling I am enjoying watching vlogs.

i had a day-to-day for CF videos but I was in my 40s when i did it. had to take it down as the original intent was for our friends and future-pilgrims.

My brother (72) and I (67) walked most of the CF last summer, just before Delta. We started on the Norte but quickly blew out our knees on the numerous downhills. We switched to the CF and started at Logroño. Here's my daily blog of the whole trip. Some video, but mostly stills.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
