juanlanzagorta said:Thank you Jean Marc,
I would like to buy my ticket before my arrival to Bayonne. In the wave page, from Bayonne, there is no SJPDP as option to buy in the web page (https://be-internet.bene-system.com/sel ... cale=en_GB)
Do you know other vendor?
Do you have any hostal preference in SJPDP? I will arrive after 7pm

I too am struggling to find out how you get a ticket to SJPP from Bayonne. I guess I will just wait until I get there and get my ticket also. I even chatted with a woman online from the train company and she said there is not train. That I have to take a bus. Not sure if that is new this year? Curious if anyone else had this much trouble??

Help!!! I already have my train ticket from Paris CDG to Bayonne, but trying to buy my ticket from Bayonne to SJPP. No problem finding the tickets, but it seems I can't use a standard Credit Card for purchase as the site says "you will need a pin # to retrieve them either from a machine or ticket counter". Can I get an e ticket for this train as I didn't see it offered on the site or will I have to use a bank debit card to purchase?
Thanks MM. I don't care about a seat or even if I have one, I just want to be sure I will get on the train. Are they ever overbooked? No e ticket. Try your bank debit card or purchase the Bayonne to SJPdP ticket on site in Bayonne. There are NO reserved seats for this transport.
MM
Passengers can stand, so I don't think they view it as overbooking, just no seat available. Buses are being used for the route because of track repairs. They can either keep adding buses, or turn people away. I do not know what they are doing. It is France, after all!!!Are they ever overbooked?
Yikes, I think I'll try booking with my bank card! Thanks guys.Passengers can stand, so I don't think they view it as overbooking, just no seat available. Well, I bought my ticket online already, sooooooo I'll just have to get to the front of the line.I've done this several times in Bayonne: just show up and buy a ticket. Even buying a ticket from the comfort of your own home thousands of miles away doesn't guarantee anything since there are no reserved seats on that train from Bayonne to St Jean Pied de Port. In other words, once you've got a ticket in your hand and you're standing next to the train (or the replacement bus), you have as much chance as anyone else has at getting a seat.
First come, first served.
Bon voyage !
