Did you prime the pump on the VdlP?

Time of past OR future Camino
VdlP(2012) Madrid(2014)Frances(2015) VdlP(2016)
VdlP(2017)Madrid/Sanabres/Frances reverse(2018)
I’ve just been following Donna’s posts as she prepares for the VdlP, and I’m reminded of something that amazed me when I travelled the VdlP in 2012. Somewhere before Castilblanco, on an isolated and difficult (for me anyway) part of the trail. there was a sign emblazoned with the word ‘water' in about six different languages. The temperature that June day must have been 40C so I followed the sign into the middle of a field where there was an old fashioned pump! (This is in the middle of nowhere). There was a tin containing water alongside it, and I think some sign indicating that you were to use it to prime the pump. I drank, and showered. Wonderful. The rest of that afternoon I couldn’t get a Kingston Trio song out of my head. (I’m testing the more mature members, here. The KT were my favourite group pre-Beatles).
The chorus, which I remembered word for word went ...
“You’ve got to …. prime the pump you must have faith and believe
You’ve got to ….. give up yourself, for you’re willing to receive.
Drink all the water you can hold, wash your face, cool your feet
But leave the bottle (tin in this case) full for others,
Thank you kindly,
Desert Pete.

Is it still there?
