Digital detox during Camino

As I am posting this I am on my way to the airport, eager to start my Camino. Once on the plane I will start a digital detox and keep out of the net for my 10 day Camino. It is going to be interesting to see how big the urge will be to see if anything has 'happened' on various forums etc. The Smartphone is so integrated to my daily life and I think I will miss to check things out, post a picture to friends on FB, see what friends are doing etc, but I think it is healthy to stay OFF line at times and give oneself time to reflect what is behind things we do and of course give space and time to the bigger questions in life. What could be a better time time and place for this than the Camino.

If you see me in here I have failed... but even if I will not see any replies for a while it would be great to hear of your thoughts on this subject when it came to/comes to your Camino.

So, I am off for a while then. Hope to meet some of you guys IRL on the Way!

May you have the best of all journeys, Kimmy.

One of the best things about being off-line for a bit is enjoying the beautiful people right in front of us. We might not know how, when, who, or why, but there are those walking right beside us who will enhance are lives more than any "online" interaction ever could.

Yes, space and serenity on the Camino. What could be better?

Trust in the arrows,
