This pool is most awesome for the dunking of hot, tired feet. There's a pic of it on my blog too, from the entrance. The albergue doesn't look like much from the outside, but once through those gates & behind the walls....

From my blog of my stay in Sept 2007:

Boadilla del Camino: I stayed at the private albergue "En el Camino," and after walking in the heat, dust, & God knows what kicked up by all the harvesters, I was really looking forward to it. The outside of the place, however, makes it look like a questionable concern, but once through the gate, OMG, I was in heaven. Instead of making me stand in a line, I was guided to the bunk rooms & told to take a shower, rest, then pay. We had dinner that night at the albergue & it was wonderful. The showers & bathrooms were spotless. This place has a swimming pool & although it was a bit too cold to swim, we stuck our feet in it. Yum!

One of my favourites! Two seatings for dinner - just like an elegant restaurant! And that stew.... soooooo good! Nice introduction to Palencia.
Buen Camino,

Guides that will let you complete the journey your way.
En el Camino is closed for the season, but Eduardo once again presided over a successful season. He has been trying for at least five years to get away to university, so far without success. No doubt the albergue is a very successful family endeavor, but it was a little sad to hear him repeat his dreams to move past it, knowing how powerful are the forces that keep him there. He is so good at being a host, maybe it is his true calling, and the pilgrims who stop there certainly benefit from his presence and that of his family.

A bit late but it is certainly Boadilla. I have the same photo but in the reverse. The pool was very cold in September, but the place was great
