El Camino from the USA...

Hi everyone!

As much as I would like to do it from France, I'll be starting the camino from Cebreiro given the limited time to my disposal.

It will be my first and I'm looking forward to it. What I find amazing is how the whole notion of going has invaded my mind, when I wake up, while I'm at work and at night....so in a way I already started the camino and my mind is just wondering around inside the albergue of my brain...

Anyway, I would welcome any tips or advice that you may have. I'm planing to do it in 7 days begining the last days of July.

Thought I've been living in the USA most of my adult live, I grew up in Galicia, so can still speak both languages (spanish & galician) fluenty. If anyone is doing the camino around the same time, I will be more than happy to assist them with any language barriers they may encounter along the way. Just look for the USA flag/bandana in the back of my Backpack and that will be me

If only you were there in August. I am walking for my first time starting around Aug 11. I would love to have someone to practice my Spanish with. I am sure I will find someone. Have a great time on your camino!
