I've arrived in Santiago. It's still raining and the Semanario albergue is closed for refurbishment until Spring 2009. Other than that, I love it here and hope to make enough cash to stay at least a week. Possibly longer. There is much to see and explore.
 
Popped in today for a look. Very interesting. Unsurprisingly the main focus is on Merida and Caceres. Also confirmed that my 'wrong route' was actually the 'right' route :lol:

Nice of them to put on an exhibition for me when I arrived. I expect another charting the history of the Alicante to Santiago route next Spring! It was fun watching from the air videos tracking the route I had been walking for the past few weeks.

Thanks for posting - I may well have missed it otherwise.
