I remember you well you heard that big cuss word when it went you were right behind me and asked if you could help me, thank YouHi Mick, I am happy to learn that you accomplished your mission. I thought about you when I passed the bridge after Burgos a month ago and sometimes in the following days I wondered if you'd made it. Well, of course you did!
I am very glad on your behalf and on behalf of the soldiers, their relatives and friends. Cheers!
If only that were true. But I always say, "My hands are too full to carry a grudge."No one remembers slights!
Thanks mate the healing process has begun, I was told the Camino does not start until you returnDear Mick,
Thank you for your service! Thank you for helping the 41 to the end! Now it's time to care for yourself. You've carried a great load for others and yourself. Let your body and mind heal and know that you did good, probably much more than most of us could've done with such injuries! Sleep well and know the thoughts of those who have walked before you are with you!
Micah
I would like to apologise for my behaviour on the forum of which I was correctly punished, I was escorting the Roll of honour Afghanistan and got into deep trouble with a herniated disc that was repaired 8 weeks before the Camino start on 20 May and damaged again outside of Burgos with the result of having to limp the rest of the way to Santiago. stopping was not an option because I was honouring the 41 Young soldiers that died on active service for Australia but unfortunately the powerful drugs that I had to take to complete Camino France affected my psychological well being and I became erratic and quiet rude on the forum. I have just now return from Hospital where they have repaired my L4 L5 disc and leaking spinal fluid plus my broken toe I also had. I am genuinely remorseful for my comments and would also like to thank my Camino Family along the way that helped me through this traumatic experience and helped me lay the 41 poppies on the shores of Fisterre. I hope my apology is accepted and that I can contribute from my experience gained on my walk Buen Camino or as my groups catchcry was No Vino No Camino
