Hello
I am very excited to begin my first Camino walk! I will begin around February 6thand have about 3 weeks. Do any of you seasoned Camino people have a good suggestion where I can begin walking to reach Santiago in 3 weeks walking? Thanks!

Burgos.

You will see very few pilgrims, but the municipal albergues will be open, and there will be open accommodations at the normal stage end points. Very little is open between the major stopping points, so have food with you. You may have to self-cater in the municipal albergues, as bars and restaurants may be closed.

It is fun but quiet!

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Depends a little on the weather. Even from Leon in snowy conditions can be a challenge and the Meseta can be a tough muddy slog... with decent weather Burgos should be comfortable! Good luck.

Thanks to all for your kind replies. Do you think i will see many other pilgrims? I dont mind walking alone, but love meeting other people, and don't want be the only person in the albergue at night. What are your thoughts?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
