Hola,

I'm planning on leaving around the 2oth of May from SJPP. I was wondering if there is a website or a list of village/town festivals going on during those times? I'm a photographer and would love to capture some other shots besides landscapes and village churches.

Also,

I've read different opinions about bringing a sleeping bag, I'm planning on staying in Albergues and an occasional splurge on a private room.

Thanks in Advance!
Tito

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
You will probably be past Sahagun about halfway down the CF by the time of their big festival around the 12th of June. It usually runs a few days. I've been trying to get specific dates for this year but so far I have had no luck.

If you do bring a sleeping bag, make it the lightest one (less that 24 ounces) you can find and afford, and that it fits in a stuff sack no bigger than a two quart water bottle.
Personally for me for that time of year? I'd bring a sleeping bag liner.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
We were in Santiago for Dia de San Juan. It was a lot of fun.

We were also in Hospital de Orbigo in early June for the mideval festival.
